The History of Electric Vehicles

Late 1800s

First developed a few decades before fossil fueled powered cars with internal combustion engines. EVs soon lost out mainly due to poor battery technology at the time so range was always well short of ICE competitors and Henry Ford’s mass produced Ford Model-T brought down the cost of owning a vehicle so much so that the EV wasn’t as feasible anymore. Back then there were little concerns for the health of the environment or the people living in it so that was a moot point.
